I try to avoid making comments that are unsupportive, but this depiction of Mrs. Angelini is so much worse than if Steenz had done nothing at all and kept her permanently MIA. Pro tip—casting a fan-favorite character in a negative light will do nothing to win over those fans, and may hurt you in the eyes of the aforementioned group.
I’m not surprised about Heart’s reaction to Mrs. Angelini considering her age right now.
She reminds me of my youngest daughter’s eye rolls and mouthed “whatevers” when she was that age.
She just wouldn’t sit still and try to listen to her own grandmothers’ expriences during the war, or the depression, or the food rationing, or the extreme wheather, or school bullies, whenevever the topic came up; as one grandmother, or the other, might remember some tid bit when the kids started to whine about this or that…
I would have liked to have heard more about my family in the olden days but, there were only a few around to tell anything. And the stories were so scattered. My father, who was older when I was born, would start to tell something and then go off track. It wasn’t until I was older that I could put facts together. It is so sad that these young people of today don’t want to hear our “old people” stories.

Meh, that’s a little harsh.
Oral histories won’t be around forever, grab them while you can.

I wonder how many times that happened to Addy before she came up with the idea to do the same thing.

Or just don’t visit her very often, since apparently neither one of you really want to be around her any more.

Remember when Heart was funny?? I miss the old days when teaching came through the comedy rather than replacing the comedy…

And Mrs. Angelini will fall for that?

And it isn’t “genius” just common sense.

I, for one, think it would be hilarious for Mrs. Angelini to go all “Disco Sally”.

Being pretty rude and harsh to Mrs. Angelini! Another deviation from the original iteration. :(
