We’ve ALL heard of whack-a-mole … Garfield’s new twist is, whack-a-spider.

That’s the way to treat a spider if you don’t wanna get wet when it’s raining. I said that because there was a strip where Garfield said he hates rain, and a spider showed up, and the final panel showed him out in the rain, and he said he hates spiders more than he hates rain. It was the first strip that showed him and a spider.

That smacked of excessive optimism…

Since it only has 6 legs, Garfield is not smacking a spider!

You shouldn’t have been insulting him.

It’s so deep that it’ll never be able to come up

Even Garfield can’t find it.

I leave the spiders alone, they keep the other household insects in check.

I generally let spiders be as they are usually not high in number and the bugs they eat are.

Unrelated to this strip but I wonder if Garfield and Odie have ever watched CatDog before.

Sorry, Spider, but you’re not on the list of things that Garfield shows a soft spot for.

He has a heart buried somewhere. It grows three sizes when Pooky is present.

Remember, he’s a cat, not a guy…..

He should talk to Peter Parker about improving his Spidey sense

The spider must have a smashing and splitting headache, from being swatted.

Garfield does have a good side. But he doesn’t show it normally to spiders.

Uh, spiders have 8 legs…
