I recall in my 20’s a nurse didn’t know how to use the measuring stick attached to the scale and marked me down as 5’4. I was/am 5’7. We argued (I asked her to pull up my older medical records to prove it) but she insisted she was right. Oddly enough, I’m now in my mid-40’s and I’m back to being 5’7 according to other doctor offices. If she was right, then that means I’m adding inches instead of losing them as I get older. Ha ha!

I was always 5”6, later when examined for my pre-hip surgery.. I had shrunk to 5”4..
