Funny happens. It is not something you can make happen. You can’t always be funny. Sorry.

Heck! You got half a year yet! Surely you will come up with something funny by then? Yes? :-)

Ive never been there, but funny is a word I would not associate with New York City

Everyday strips need not be “ha ha” funny. Internal turmoil works, too……as you’ve captured today!

You couldn’t even get mugged, for arts’ sake?

But look at the bridge, the city, the lights! Wowzer!

So’s youse sayin’ da Bronk ain’t funny? Guido, shows dis paesano funny.

What about that thing with the two cats, the skunk, the 5th precinct, the priest, and the PS 452 field trip bus?

Did you stay up late enough? You know this IS the city that never sleeps.

And, yet, I am laughing.

Start spreading the news, I’m leaving today. I want to be a part of it: New York, New York. These vagabond shoes, are longing to stray. Right through the very heart of it: New York, New York.

Nothing funny. The tale of this strip for the last 20+ years. /S
