The only way to learn is to do! Rub dirt on it and move on. Better than sitting inside playing video games and complaining about how the world isn’t fair.
Most can avoid poison ivy and such by washing when you get home. Looks like chiggers to me. Sometimes I’ve wondered if I want to go back north where you don’t get killed by chiggers just for walking across the grass.
Never, ever, ever scratch poison ivy/oak/sumac rashes! They all have the same chemical in them that makes the rashes and itching, but the differences are generally regional.
