    Huh, I was just arguing the other day that the democratisation of the music industry was a good thing – I think that applies to the visual arts too.

    That said I am something of a fan of zero budget films – I remember improving my rating of a movie by two starts when I realised the production budget was less than I paid for my car.

    With cheap computers and available programs you don’t even need props anymore, just CGI them in. But if you fail to match shadows they stand out like a sore thumb; like Lemon’s CGI car in the last panel.
