Love it. Had a friend whose son wanted to garden also. So, she put in a bed for him and let him do whatever he wanted. It looked somewhat like aboveabove, but he did put in a few plants.
It’s just playing in the dirt to kids. If they truly like planting and growing flowers or veggies they’ll show it quickly. If not it’s not going to kill them to get dirty.
