What if a crane settles down in a town? Is he called a Citizen Crane then?

On some mornings, I am lucky enough to hear the Sandhill Cranes. I never see them unless out driving, but they are so fun to listen to.

Cranes actually eat a lot more than fish. I’ve seen them in farm fields far from water, presumably gleaning grain and looking for insects and rodents.

We call them long necked white birds. Herons are long necked gray birds (or Barn Swallows), and seagulls are short necked white birds.
