Some people seem to take joy in deliberately spreading ridiculous stories. It gives them a feeling of power, lacking in their everyday lives. They are sick, and need help.
The definition of the four horsemen of the apocalypse varies, depending upon which “camp” you’re from, but it’s generally agreed that they signal the beginning of the “end times”.
Personally I prefer the “Four Motorcyclists of the Apocalypse” as depicted in the Pratchett/Gaiman book, “Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch”. Which you REALLY need to read – especially if you think you’ve grasped the concept after watching the TV production of “Good Omens”.
