Anthony: Therese doesn't love me, Elizabeth. Elizabeth: How can you say that? Elizabeth: When we got married, I think she did, but then her career took off and things changed. I wasn't exciting enough. I wanted a family. Now she spends more time at work than she spends with us. I've talker to her. I've been to a counsellor. It's not going to work, Liz. Elizabeth: Anthony, you know that I care for you very much...but...what more can I say? Anthony: Say that you'll wait for me! Promise me you'll wait!

Sigh…the whole situation sounds crappy. It sounds like he’s fighting for his marriage and it’s not working. I’m not saying he’s totally right here, he’s not, but it’s a complex mess and who knows how any of us would act.

Everyone who works a full-time job spends more time (at least waking hours) at their job than with family. 8hrs/day, plus travel time, equals more than 40 hours. Evenings and weekends don’t come to that.
