The IPCC report suggests that if we start RIGHT NOW and DO EVERYTHING WE CAN, we can keep the temperatures from rising very much more than what we are now seeing. The longer we wait to start, and the less fully we engage with the effort, the worse it will become. This DOES assume that the Gulf Stream doesn’t collapse.
