“Z” was actually a pretty good movie. Yves Montand and Irene Papas, about the political situation in Greece in the 1960s.

There is an excellent video on YouTube about Richard Thompson and the exhibition the Billy Ireland comic museum put on a few years ago.

Two different actors starred as Truman Capote on film in consecutive years: Philip Seymour Hoffman in “Capote,” 2005 (for which he won an Oscar), and Toby Jones in “Infamous,” 2006 (won several awards, but not nominated for an Oscar). I imagine that was the inspiration for the top panel.
The real Truman Capote was 5’3" but while Jones is closer in height (5’5" to Hoffman’s 5’10"), Hoffman is generally regarded to have captured him better.

Had to look up pictures of Reese Witherspoon. She does have a strong chin but quite attractive.
I’ve never watched the Oscars. Boring. I’d rather watch a Nature show on gorillas or butterflies or whatever…

Since Mickey’s career died almost 20 years ago, he’s finally decided to go Public Domain.
