    A little sparrow was late flying south for the winter and decided to stop in a barn to get warm and try to find something to eat. He found some chickens roosting and had a bite of their feed. He was still cold and was getting to his wit’s end when all of a sudden a cow walked over and excreted some processed hay all over the little sparrow. Sure it stunk, but it was warm. In a short time he was very happy and started to sing. The barn cat heard the singing and came over and dug the little guy out, washed him off and had him for lunch. The moral of the story is: Not everybody who buries you in manure is your enemy and not everybody who pulls you out is a friend. If you are warm and happy but in a pile of manure it’s best to keep quiet about until you can figure out what to do.
