A gentleman who worked for me as an insurance underwriter during the late 80’s drank 2 six packs of Coca Cola every work day and ate an entire package of “Thin Mints” throughout the day. He was, in fact, one of my most talented underwriters and very good at thinking outside the box.
One day, as he and his supervisor were leaving my office after we had resolved a very thorny underwriting problem, we asked him about his beverage and snacking habits. Doing a pretty fair “Josey Wales” imitation he said that the caffeine “gave him an edge.” :-)
Whew. Not for me. I would be so wired I couldn’t get anything done.

From personal experience it’s very hard on the teeth, I was a “pop” sipper drinking it all day long and the acid and sugar just ate away at my teeth. I have very few that aren’t full of fillings or crowns when not much left to fill.
