Glad Peter is learning to play the oboe but maybe he should be given a kazoo or triangle instead.

Must be the instrument they used in the Three Stooges theme song (specifically the Shemp Era: eeeebeebeebeebee).

No wonder he can’t make a decent sound. Just look at the mashed up reeds.

Banging pot lids together might be more appealing to the ear.

I feel for you, Petey. Yesterday I was practicing my contrabassoon and instead of running away, one of the cats attacked my leg. Fortunately it was the prosthetic leg and she did not do much damage.

Alice, you don’t understand. Petey is not trying to put on a show; he’s trying to think! The oboe may (dubiously) help him, whether the noise it emits is pleasing (music) or not….
