    @Number Three Today’s strip IS funny but a repeat, our HERO Mr Andre Capp is totally uncultured, taking Andy anywhere where booze is not involved is a waste of money :o) my avatar again is my birth sign Leo roaring his head off because he’s in a good mood like I am ,how was your day? our Manic Monday as usual but we will cope I hope so we will stay in the house and relax till this evening when the Greengrocer van comes up our street, keep safe and thanks for caring young Lady

    There’s a French town, in the Alps, called Les Gets and all the English (including me) pronounced it as we saw it (in much the same way as Andy)… None of the local French ever corrected us – too polite…

    Some months later I moved to Bourges and mentioned to a neighbour parapenting in Les Gets… She had no idea where I was talking about… until I wrote it down… Ah “lay jay” )…

    However, it was obvious who the Miserables were. Andy and the rest of the audience.

    That’s pretty much the way I feel about the theater

    You can lead Andy to culture, but you can’t make it sink in.

    Last time I was at a cinema was in 2010 and that was on a school trip. We saw the film “Avatar”

    I have never been a big movie watcher. I would be hopeless in pub quizzes about TV/Film.

    @Afficionado

    Hey, Affie. Where were you yesterday? I might not have been commenting myself but I do peek in once or twice. You were missed.

    I don’t really have any plans for this week. But I have deactivated Facebook for a short while. It has now been 14 hours and I don’t miss it. Although my Dad has just told me there is a massive outage on Facebook and Instagram. I’m obviously so important to Facebook HQ that deactivating my account brought the entire system down. Haha!

    Fun Fact: Facebook HQ’s address is “1 Hacker Way” I snorted when I saw that. Just perfect.

    Stay safe, stay well and stay happy, pal. I am happy that Autumn/Fall is here.

    I was travelling in the USA and looking for the capital city of South Dakota, but when I kept asking for Pierre, the French pronunciation, no one heard of it. Until I said the SD capitol. Then they said “oh, you’re looking for Peer”, that is how they all say it.

    I’m no expert on theater, but I think whether or not a musical is good depends on if it would still work well without the songs.
