    Turn your back on the hair-splitting fool, Andrew. What harm may come of it?

    No refund; Andy spent it at the horse race track… and then lost it when his horse on which he bet didn’t win.

    @Number Three Today’s strip IS funny, our HERO Mr Andrew Capp’s quibling with words is priceless the pidgeon he sold the bloke WAS his best but time takes it’s toll my avatar is a picture of Snow White from Walt Disney’s first animated movie which reminds me of the good old days when we compared the characters with Cappers bev was snow White was DOC because of my nursing profession , you were Sneezy because you had hay fever at the time , I can’t remember the rest how was your day? our Thursday should be slightly busy but we should cope I hope, we are both in a good mood , no errands to run or shopping to do ,just keep hydrated till the Greengrocer van comes up our street this evening keep safe and thanks for caring young Lady.just found out that Disney and my dad were born on the same day and date

    People buy and sell pigeons in Britain? Here in north america, they just wander around all over the place for free.

    If it’s a homing pigeon, he could make a lot of money…

    It’s certainly no surprise Andy is big on pigeon racing, the birds do all the work.

    You do know ‘was’ is past tense, right.

    Why else would Andy sell the pigeon? The pigeon was past its prime.

    Carrier Pigeons saved thousands of lives during WW 1 and 2. Carrying messages for Battle Troops. And is Said: Some Homing Pigeons Could fly 1300 miles back home (not without stopping of course).

    @Afficionado

    Hey, Affie.

    I went to the library again today to use the computers. I have the internet at home but it gives me an excuse to leave the house. It was nice and quiet. Plus, I am a member so why not? I believe that anybody who is not a member has to pay £1 to use the computer but everybody has to pay to use the printer. 10p per sheet, 50p for colour.

    What kind of stuff do you get from the Greengrocer van? I’m more of a fruit than a vegetable person myself. But I am booked for the carvery again on the 20th.

    Stay safe, stay well and stay happy, pal.
