When it comes to it, we are suspending reality to enjoy this medium of art! I appreciate the heart and truth that sneaks out among the ridiculous and the sublime. My world is serious enough, sometimes I just want to go Overboatd!

Rarely get to be around yellows,oranges and browns? What about the captain’s hat, Nate’s shirt, and Louie’s coat?

Love this strip just as it is. Those complainers could simply leave.

Came down here to comment how lovely this strip was today. Thank you, Mr. Dunham. Am surprised by the comments about the art. Sad.

I suppose seeing autumn colors would seem like a vacation to those who are normally at sea. Enjoy, Louie and friends.

As for the strip itself, I love reading every day, and I just ignore comments that are negative. People are entitled to not like the strip, or parts of it, but that won’t change how I feel about it. Keep up the great work, Mr. Dunham.
