Sorry, SPG, but the award for most drama and intrigue in a tale of a golf caddy goes to Ed Norton, in an episode of The Honeymooners. He explained to Ralph Kramden how working as a golf caddy in his younger days led him into his beloved job in the sewer. I don’t even need to hear yours.
