I don’t think Leopold is lazy, he tirelessly works on new techniques of torture and abuse of Jarhead Travis and Gary. Owen he has written off as too pitiful to abuse.
Leopold’s scrawny little arms have astounding strength. But given his profession as a monster/cannibal, it’s not so surprising. Invidious comparison for poor, struggling Gary. (Hint: drink some real, red, human blood, Gary….)
