He was just buddies with Washington GM Bruce Allen, a former GM with the Bucs who was a Gruden yes man and replaced GM Rich McKay who had numerous power struggles with Chuckie and got fired right along with Chuckie after the 2008 season. Allen did hire Chuckie’s brother, Jay, to coach Washington however to with mediocre results.

Nah. No more leaks. This served two purposes: Ruined a Goodell detractor’s career while taking attention away from the “investigation” (cough-cough) into the Billionaire Boyz Club member’s toxic front office culture in DC.

Anyone who replied to a Gruden email with a “lol” will need to be cut out out too.

There needs to be a Statute of Limitations on stupidity. What you said or did 10 years ago or more should no longer be material. Especially if it was normal, accepted behavior at the time.

Interesting that Football coach and broadcaster is forced to resign over a private email years ago that is viewed as racist due to public outrage, while a politician has photos of him in brown and black face on multiple occasions and has been reelected to lead a country. It is strange the things that resound with the public and what they will forgive
