Bald dude forgets that Chuckie was never officially affiliated with the Washington Football Franchise. He was just buddies with Washington GM Bruce Allen, a former GM with the Bucs who was a Gruden yes man and replaced GM Rich McKay who had numerous power struggles with Chuckie and got fired right along with Chuckie after the 2008 season. Allen did hire Chuckie’s brother, Jay, to coach Washington however to with mediocre results.
Nah. No more leaks. This served two purposes: Ruined a Goodell detractor’s career while taking attention away from the “investigation” (cough-cough) into the Billionaire Boyz Club member’s toxic front office culture in DC.
There needs to be a Statute of Limitations on stupidity. What you said or did 10 years ago or more should no longer be material. Especially if it was normal, accepted behavior at the time.
Interesting that Football coach and broadcaster is forced to resign over a private email years ago that is viewed as racist due to public outrage, while a politician has photos of him in brown and black face on multiple occasions and has been reelected to lead a country. It is strange the things that resound with the public and what they will forgive
Coaches are just employees. And nowhere near the best paid. Gruden, for example, was making $10 mil per on a ten year contract. Patrick Mahomes is making an average of $45 mil per on a ten year contract. Khalil Mack is making an average of $23.5 mil per on a six year contract. What the league is worried about is the content of e-mails between Washington owner Dan Snyder and other owners.

Adding to the irony is the fact that Chucky never worked for the Deadskins.

Anyone who replied to a Gruden email with a “lol” will need to be cut out out too.

So many commenters wanting this to be only about the WFC and not their own teams owners and front office.

Ah, if anyone remembers Jonathon Martin, they would know it’s not just the Washington team which has culture issues.

Let’s go through the emails of the pundits and SJWs and see how they fare.

How about letting the past be the past, and move forward from where we are?
People are not who they were 5, 10, 15, or 20 years ago.
