Wind power generators are unsightly and grossly inefficient, but they (are intended to) make us feel like we’re about (the perceived threat of) global warming.
Domestic cats are a much bigger problem. An estimated 2.4 billion birds killed yearly in the US by our cats. https://www.nature.com/articles/ncomms2380
Considering that the residents of Nantucket community ( Kennedys, Bushs, Obama ) banned wind mills in the bay; but, they want them built in your area… Rumor has it that no wind mill farms are built within a 35 miles of any Starbucks…
There is 7 billion people living on earth, it is incomprehensible that there are those that refuse to believe that people, especially the industrialized countries, are a large contributor to how the world’s environment is changing for the worse.
The problem isn’t really fossil fuels or the lack of “green” energy production, it is the poor job that the world does in managing the various energy sources. It should be noted that all forms of energy receive subsidies. “Every energy technology we’ve had … has benefited quite substantially from the all of the different world’s governments.
If all fossil fuel production was just reduced by let’s say 80% tomorrow the cataclysmic effect on the world’s economics would likely set us back a 100 years.
So if all of us would work toward a useful and logical answers we could possible solve many of our existing problems.
But that ain’t going to happen, so we’ll just stumble along as we always have, unfortunately.

I would like to see LEDs and Ultrasonic whistles put on those things. It should reduce the number of strikes.
