I can’t argue with your beautifully illustrated story here, Gavin. However, your statement that “No creationist ever cracked the genetic code” gives the impression that the scientist who did – Francis Collins – is opposed to the idea that there is a Creator behind the wonders of “creation” that you so skillfully depict. Nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, readers who are under the impression that true scientists are atheists might be surprised to learn about the Christian face of the Scientific Revolution: <https://www.christianitytoday.com/history/issues/issue-76/christian-face-of-scientific-revolution-did-you-know.html>. Is it possible that the central event of the Easter holiday we observed yesterday was God’s way of confirming his role in world history through the resurrection of his son?

No amount of scientifically, mathematically or historically based facts will ever stop those that want to destroy reality based educational instruction for their own personal gain. Here in the USA a concerted effort is being perpetrated to make teachers out to be social deviants to divide and conquer for their demented cause. “Alternate Facts” have no place in our schools. The most important lesson is to teach all people to maintain a free-thinking, open mind with an unbiased, discerning eye, also wide open at all times.
