I had a similar experience when it came to my loving wife. I fell in love at first sight in 1985 and she didn’t even know or care that I existed. It took a while but we finally connected in 1986 and we married in 1987 sadly this part ends in March of 2021 when she died suddenly and unexpectedly way too soon at only 53.

If he was 17 in 1947 that would make him 91 today. 23 skidoo would be more common for 1917 rather than 1947.
