A few years ago, when my brother was in Germany and we were in Branson, he told us to drive to a live feed â on line â of a certain section of the city. We parked in a lot across the street from the camera and waved at him.

I donât see why itâs supposed to be unnerving. As a kid, didnât you tell your parents âHey! Lookit me!â and they would say, âYeah, sure. Iâm watching.â But they were actually doing something else. Now, the God who created everything and has âMaximally Great Beingâ on his rĂ©sumĂ© really is watching youânot to get the goods on you (he got that long ago because we insisted on it), but because he loves you. Thereâs nothing scary about that.

Whatâs really unnerving is Big Brother(AKA the NSA) watching you 24/7.

Definitely the ârents. God is too busy watching all creatures great and small to spend time constantly judging them. Rents, on the other hand, âŠ

Iâd think kids are actually more concerned with Santa watching them than either their parents or god.

God has the power to send you to the eternal oven while your parents just pile on the shame. Gosh, thinking on it now the latter choice is far worse.

Realistically, kid, if you do something wrong, who are you going to worry about more, your parents or God?
