Sad to see how easily triggered some people are. It’s also interesting that a lot of those same folks seem to view racism with a fixed mindset – as if it’s something permanent that you can’t grow past. Or they irrationally fear that the world will forever judge them for it no matter what they do from here on. I have never met a person who DIDN’T hold racist misperceptions, myself included. What keeps us from being actively racist is the willingness to acknowledge and correct those attitudes when we become aware of them.
