You get good things in second hand stores and it can enable you to have more clothes not less. I had a friend who refused to shop in second hand stores and she was paying more than twice what I paid for clothes. She kept wearing the same things while I had many more outfits.
But most (too many) will only wear over-sized t-shirts and baggy shorts. “I like to be comfortable damit.” So look like we are walking around in public in our underwear.
