    A survey done about 4 years ago indicated a Large percentage of people had winning a lottery of some kind as part of their retirement ‘plans’. (I suspect a large %-age of Those also voted for Trump- and the ones who voted twice for him I’d be almost certain of)

    A family friend won $50,000 in the late 1980’s from playing the lottery every week. She had spent something like $1 or $3 per week, for a couple of years, before she had won. Even so, the money was a nice little addition to her retirement fund.
