@paha_siga: So instead of us smelling people apart, we stereotype them?
Anyways - with over 7 billion people in the world, race isn’t enough to tell people apart.
Uh… I tried to express my indifference and obviously went totally wrong somewhere…
Ibbit, you are the one who talks about races. I talked about looks, and that I have always thought people look different just so that we could tell each other apart (I don’t really smell or taste people). That is the only thing I care about looks of people, really - tall or short, thin or fat, eye colour, hair colour, skin colour, etc - it is all just so that we could know who is who. :)
It is the same in comics - I notice characters being of different skin colours only when someone points it out. :( I guess I miss a lot because of that.
Paha: This is really late, yeah. But when I said what I did, I kinda just added onto what you were saying. I didn’t mean that you stereotype people, I more meant that people do, in general.
Sorry for the confusion.

That’s what I have thought, too. Our noses suck, so we need something else instead of smell.
