It’s absolutely true, it is what they do.

I’m a novelist, not a cartoonist, but the most awesome thing ever is to have a reader tell me that one of my books got her through a hard time. I’ve been there myself reading a novel beside a loved one in a hospital bed. We creatives are more important than many think.
