Wiley, if you believe the god myth that you ever so often write about, you should realize that woodpeckers are also part of your god’s creation. “All things dull and ugly, all creatures short and squat, all things rude and nasty, the lord god made the lot.”
According to Wikipedia, John Hart was a devout Christian, so for him God was not a myth, but very much real. It’s always funny, but not really amusing, how “unbelievers” presume to know a Christian’s faith better than the believer themselves, and then presume to lecture on how the believer should think/speak/act. Recent history has recorded many enough examples of professed Christians behaving very badly, that there should be no need to target the faith of a deceased man and his comic strip character.
