Venomous. No snake is poisonous. You can eat any snake and not be poisoned.

True fact! Rattlesnake in fact is quite tasty.

I took a picture of a snake and it buzzed its rattles at me. It couldn’t have been the diamondback rattlesnake in my picture because the guidebooks say they don’t live up here.

I heard of a worm that was getting pretty good on the drums.

Snakes have often hit over .350 against top major league pitching. Elroy “Smokey” Snake had a 120 mph fastball and a curve ball that broke twice on its way to the plate.

Remember, poisonous is if you bite it. Venomous is if it bites you! That snake is likely not poisonous if you eat it, but it may be venomous if it bites you. ;)

Fun fact: the Asian Tiger Snake is both venomous and poisonous!
