Not always. But I do sound scared when I tell him. Or her.
I tell them, but I’m apologetic.
As a picky eater, I always send it back. Politely.
it depends how wrong it is. if i ordered steak and i got fish, i’d send it back. if i ordered medium rare steak and got rare i probably wouldn’t.
What I do when the food is not hot enough.
Methinks I’ve sent the wrong order back only once. More often multiple orders get placed to the wrong guests at the same table—easily remedied.
I wait till the server comes over to ask “How’s everything?” Then, since they asked, it’s okay to tell the truth. As long as you don’t send it back they can’t spit in it.
