I’m right there with you, Tardigrade – small talk is my kryptonite, too. I’m okay speaking to people about things of substance, but as soon as the pertinent information is finished, I flee as soon as practical.
The people good at small talk absolutely amaze me. They can talk on and on and on about nothing. I say the sky is blue ~ they can talk for half an hour on the color of the sky. Amazing.
