The stores now are asking if you are over 40. THere are some people who look 40 and much closer to 20 and some underage look as though they are 30ish.

HAHAHA! I get it. But now I get asked to prove I’m OVER a certain age to get the discounts. And I’m just shy of turning 65 next spring for the best discounts of all. Interestingly, the last time I saw there was a 65+ discount, I told them I was just shy of that and could I get the discount anyway….they said YES. LOL

It’s even worse when they stop asking.

So you must be about, say, 54 now, Lennie?

I have two children about your age. I ordered some wine from the local supermarket, the Door-Dash guy asked for ID.

“I’ll take some of that Ginger, there…”

(I know I just used the same joke recently, but this setup today was perfect… ☺)

These days young guys shave their heads. I wouldn’t judge by that.

I don’t drink, but recently Walmart has been asking for ID when purchasing things like white-out and those cans of air to clean computers with…and I’m 55 years old.

I was 21 before I was carded. I was insulted. Long ago, Today, they have to card almost everyonebefore the purchase(alcohol to spray paint and even mouthwash) can be approved.
