cats do love affection, on their own terms.

My cat loved attention. She’d even sit on my chest when I was under the sink fixing the plumbing.

As I’ve always have said, cats DEMAND, to be pampered and taken care of, but they ALWAYS find ways, to annoy us human carers.

Cats live on their own terms.

What about telling Garfield that you’ll be ordering pizza or cheeseburgers, Jon? That would get him to return the hug.
