Let her talk it out Len. She’ll eventually get to what all the implications would be. Then share some cheesecake and coffee at a quiet and cozy place.

Spend a couple of hours with a two-year old or a small baby. That should change her mind.

I remember a passage from that book where the efficiency expert father recounted how he got his start as a bricklayer’s apprentice and noted that his mentor had two speeds, a faster one for when the boss was watching and the other one which was his normal working speed that he could maintain all day.

Yeah, better be upfront about this from the start, Abby, so Len can at least know what he’s getting himself into here. :P

i would remind her that the 1st she made was “how nice they are to cuddle”. She could volunteer at a hospital in the maternity ward and cuddle babies there.
