Fred, you just weren’t built for speed and it’s nice that you know it.

Not your fault. Bassets were bred for sprints and not long distance running. you are fast off the mark and all but fade in the back stretch to be pipped at the post. Stick to sprints. Much better chance of gold. We still love you.

This doesn’t look any different from the race seven days ago when Fred surged from behind to win. Explanation please?
