As I remember, back in the seventies, raising my kids, repetition was trending….every night either reading the same story 20 times and or singing Rock-a-by-Baby…
Kind of like the infinite questions game: Why is the sky blue? How does it refract light? Why is grass green? How does it make chlorophyll? Can I make my own chlorophyll and breath under water? Why can’t I fly like a bird? etc. etc.
My nephew wanted to play the “scare game” the other day. The first time he jumped out and roared at me I pretended to be scared. He laughed. So of course he wanted to keep doing it. I love the kid, but how long can you continue to pretend something?
