At my son’s little league game, a foul ball hit the dirt and came up right between the plate umpire’s legs. I never heard “strike!” spoken in such a high register before (or since). I was going to say “high pitch”, but the pitch was actually low.
His record is high E flat during rehearsal for “man of la mancha” when Sancho Panza’s donkey kicked him in the ‘gentles’! They say he held the note for three minutes and forty-seven seconds!!
