    That was the essentially the premise in George Orwell’s ‘1984’ with Oceania, Eurasia, and Eastasia the only three remaining countries on Earth perpetually fighting one another for dominance. It is remarkable that he wrote that book in 1949 when the US was the only superpower and accurately predicted the emergence of Russia and China to form the eventual triumvirate. Eerie!
