I did, back in the days before we started watchingd stuff on our specific monitors/laptops. I had installed the whole system (which worked perfectly) including several gadgets for watching videos, movies etc from external hard-disks (without involvement of a computer) or DVDs on our HD-TV – including surround-sound.
