So, it isn’t Muggs with the ball. And the guy with the ball doesn’t look like Hubbs, I think Hubbs is charging up to the pile right now.

As for the Ref, maybe he’s pinned down so can’t pull his cap and toss it. If a player is found with his flags they can be tossed for unsportsmanlike conduct, I would think. ಥ_ಥ

Hate to say it, but the ref and officials deserve this. I hope they’re not getting any of that one cheerleader either!(Cruel ain’t I?)

Now would be a good time for a team to sneak in a fake referee to take over for the rest of the game, favoring one team. I don’t think the Skippers need it, but I bet the Diner’s coach would love this plan.
