These games should have been canceled because of COVID-19!

If the Olympics are to survive or maintain any sort of credibility, they need to pick one host city — say, Athens for the summer games — and stick with it. The competition for hosting detracts from the games themselves — and frankly often hurts people in the host cities. If there were one host city, the venues could be used over and over. As for COVID, I think if there were only one host city, canceling or restricting the games for one year would not be as difficult to manage.

IOC is completely corrupt. Why else would the Olympics be in China and Russia four years ago?

I would have liked to see the USA boycott the opening ceremonies.

Given the high incarceration rate in America.. the number of homeless in a prosperous nation.. selective justice. Just a wild guess.. but America also has its share of human rights abuses.

Can’t believe China got the Olympics again. Would nazi Germany have been allowed to host the Olympic games? I think not
