Hmmm… a realistic Roman battering ram and a pseudo-Viking helmet. (Only one genuine Viking helmet has ever been found, made of leather and sans horns.) The horned helmet idea was a product of the 19th-century European Romantic Era which never saw a historical fact it couldn’t twist into something, well, romantic, in the sense of fantasized.
It doesn’t particularly look like it, but for some reason, I’m reminded of the slightly sentient battering ram in the animated Return of the King (“Grond”)
