This reminds me of a cat my mother had. It loved pop bottle tops so they would finish a bottle of pop and throw it down for the cat. The cat would play with it for hours and then it would be gone. But when they would clean behind the fridge, that was where they all went!
Found my sister and my mother sitting on the couch shaking with red tear-streaked faces. I thought they were crying and asked them what was wrong, then realized they were laughing. Took them awhile to tell me what happened. They were trying to move the couch to a different place in the room. There was a misunderstanding and they were pushing from opposite directions, so the couch wasn’t moving.
About once a week my husband lifts up one side of our loveseat couch to find our cats play toys. The other day we found 5 small plastic balls and 7 plastic straws. We’re like oh that’s where they all went. Lol.

Must have been something wrong with hubby and me. We’d decide the best place for the furniture and never rearrange it.

This is so ON the mark. When we move the sofa to mop and wax the wood floors there are several cat toys.

Too bad the stove and refrigerator aren’t that easy to move. That’s where most of the toys are in my apartment.

And in five minutes all the cat toys will find their way under the couch in its new location.

Monty, being the cat.

One of those grabber tools works really well for pushing the toys out from under.

That is one happy kitty.

We have 4 cats and the youngest likes cat toys more than almost any cat I’ve ever seen
We have a lot of cats toys and move furniture just to find more when they seem to be running low

Hopefully nothing under there was alive once…
