“copying” is a bit of a strong term, I’d prefer: “inspired”, “influenced” or my favourite “tribute” :)

i gotta admit red and rover is a little bit like calvin and hobbes
but as long as brian is not copying things word for word and making his own gags…hes alrite

@darwin4139, I think Brian admires Bill Watterson. You don’t hear Bill complaining do you? Brian has taken over the reins to bring the world a nice innocent comic strip about a boy and his friend, be it a stuffed tiger or a mutt dog. Don’t criticize, JUST ENJOY!!
