i must be spacing out because i am lost on this one!

“Ehh, sorry. Should I back space and enter again?”

Was one an impostor?

Sigh…. Here’s what I think:

The young MAN on the right is sending a text… he left out the space between “a” and “lot” in “a lot” …. maybe he incorrectly thought it was one word.

His presumably superior officer sees it, and reaches from behind him to correct it… it’s HIS finger on the space bar.

He realises that his mistake has given the officer an opening to play a trick, and yells “No!”

They both know that that he’s about to hit “space” and eject them into space.

I don’t know why that doesn’t happen while just typing… maybe it’s a different “space” key. But he sees it coming.

Once they’re ejected,the officer is grinning because he succeeded in tricking his young subordinate.

Kinda like Rick-rolling or getting someone to open the phony jar with spring-loaded “snakes.”

good thing he didn’t hit tab – he would’ve ended up with a foul-tasting soft drink…

There’s a bar in space?

The “Escape” key does the same thing.

But he presumably hit the space bar between “I” and “miss”, “miss” and “you”, and “you” and “a lot”, yet they weren’t ejected into space after those. So why were they ejected this time?

I’ve always thought it should be one word. ‘A lot’ is a place you build a house on or park a car.

They don’t have the tablet (or what ever it is he’s texting on, with them outside the ship. He can not correct it.

Open the pod bay doors Siri.

That’s why I never press the “enter” key when watching a movie on my tablet.

Just flap your arms real fast to ‘swim’ through the omnipresent Dark-Matter.

My question is “Where did they find the resurrected Space Shuttle?” (I know – comics reality).

I am lost in space in this one!
