Methane is plentiful but demand is low :>}

Ehh, economics goes over like a lead balloon.

Prescient. Helium is used for making integrated circuits (computer chips), and Ukraine is a major supplier of helium.

And growers in the timber market got bored.

That’s just ducky…

And lead balloon futures have crashed.

A few weeks ago I heard an international stock report saying that the Footsie (FTSE) was flat.

helium is a precious resource that we’re wasting terribly… but what else is new.

No new helium is being made on Earth. All helium storage facilities leak. (Helium can leak through glass!). Supplies are going to continue to decrease. It is a vital component of cryogenics used in medical and scientific refrigeration systems. Not a good time to be filling toy balloons with it.
