    Don’t forget… step 3 should be “Stir.”

If you go straight to “Allow to cool” you won’t want to eat it… though maybe you could chew on the big sticky lump.

I know some of you think this is obvious and no big deal…

but it actually complicates the recipe a LOT, for two girls who can barely find an old Cool Whip container for a bowl.

Now they need a clean (I hope) spoon for stirring it..

And not the barely used McDonald’s plastic one they were going to eat with.

It isn’t strong enough… and it might melt in boiling water.

What is that “thing” at the left of the total panel?

    A crude crutch?

Fortunately, the whole complicated recipe for Jell-o is printed on the box. I don’t think you can find it in a cookbook.

Tell me about it. I never sing “happy birthday” because I can’t remember the last line.

The boiling water part is especially difficult.

As if Agnes and Trout can afford “name brand” Jell-O – they’re lucky if they have dollar store brand flavored gelatin-like product

As we’ve seen many time before, this is why both of them — but especially Agnes — should not be allowed in the kitchen unsupervised.

It’s written on the back of the Jell-o packet.

…and if you want to get REALLY fancy, search the dumpster for a old jello mold.
